Day 5- July 16, 2026

Today for our mission work we went to the Karm Shelter. First, we went out to the courtyard and gave our snacks and waters to everyone. During this time we got to talk to many different people who told us about their stories. One thing that stood out to me while talking was hearing that they were putting their trust in God to guide them. Next we went upstairs to do the same thing in the women’s wing. We then put prayer cards on each bed. After that we served lunch and had our devotion time. Lastly, we made more prayer cards for everyone in the home care wing.

Today I went to an apartment complex and emptied storage sheds. It was really hot and sweaty and we did a lot of heavy lifting. We did many trips to a storage unit to unload boxes. 

We also played with a little boy named Zander; he is so fun to be around and he’s very kind. I just had a lot of fun playing with him and being able to hang out with him.
