Day 3- July 14,2026

We traveled to a thrift shop that was set to be closing down in 2 weeks and needed much help clearing out inventory. We filled a 30 yard dumpster to the brim and then some. By the grace of God a nearby car was NOT hit by a flying futon frame. We also helped pack up a massive order the store had gotten. Lastly we had a full tractor trailer full of yunk that needed taking care of and busted through it. After all this we had dinner and worship and decided the best way to celebrate such great work was at an  ice cream shop.

Today, my group went to a KARM store for volunteering.

Some of the things we did there include, but most certainly aren't limited to, are as follows:

-Cleaning

-Organizing

-Making Ticket bands

One thing I liked about this was getting to see a thrift store for the first time! (Yes, I've genuinely never seen a thrift store.)

After that, we decided to stop at the Dutch Bros. Coffee Shop across the street. I unrealizingly got a combo that costed exactly $10 (medium chocolate shake + warmed chocolate chip muffin top). The things I just mentioned are what I liked about this.
