Welcome to John McMillan Presbyterian Church!

You are invited to join us at Worship and at our many church events.

Come to John McMillan for The Lord’s Prayer Sermon Series

Beginning on May 31 and continuing through July 19, Pastor Jeff and Pastor Louise will preach a series of messages on the Lord’s Prayer. This series will accompany a challenge to everyone to participate in the devotionals of the book Pray Daily: Igniting Our Passion for God, A Ninety-Day Adventure in Prayer, edited by E. Stanley Ott. This devotional challenges the congregation to read, reflect, respond and pray daily and to create prayer groups.  Everyone interested in participating, please sign up in the Narthex. We will get you the book and help with the formation of the groups.

In 2007 a unique book was published that discussed at least two important theological questions: The concept of the Trinity and the question of evil in the world. That book was The Shack by Wm. Paul Young. The Shack is a work of fiction that has been widely read and discussed. While Sunday school is on hiatus until September, we will read The Shack and discuss it after Sunday worship during the summer. Pastor Jeff will lead this discussion which will begin on June 7 from 10:45 to 11:30 am and continue through July 19 (we will take July 5 off). Everyone is welcome to attend.

Vacation Bible School has been a huge success at John McMillan Presbyterian Church! Many children from the community, our preschool and the church enjoyed a week of fellowship, fun, and faith. To view more photos of Son Spark Labs , go to our Facebook page.

Our Senior HIgh volunteers and their leaders spent a week at the PIlgrimage Church in Washington , D.C. and performed  God's work by helping the homeless. We praise God for the help they were able to give to others and for their safe journey. To learn more about their mission work, visit our church Facebook page.

If you use online banking, you can make your pledges online, too! Click here for more information on how to participate in electronic giving.

The JMPC Preschool Registration is in full swing for the 2015-2016 School Year! Children ages 2, 3, and 4 are welcome to  attend our Preschool. There is also a T class. In addition, JMPC Preschool offers special opportunities for our students like "Lunch and Learning." For more information on how to enroll your child into our Preschool, please click here.

How can you help those impacted by weather disasters in Oklahoma and Texas? Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) has reached out to mid-councils in the affected areas to offer care and is ready to assist as needed and requested. The MIssion Committee at JMPC will update you on how we can help out. Until then, please offer up prayers for those whose lives have been impacted by these torrential rains, floods and tornadoes. Click here for more information on how PDA is helping those across the US.

You can listen to our services anytime any place using our computer or mobile device . Check out the SERMONS tab on our home page or Click here to listen.  Our Worship Services are also recorded and available on CD in our Church Office.
