Donations made to the Bread Box in July and August are designated for the FAMILY PROMISE organization, a non-profit that provides temporary shelter, food and safety for children and their families suffering homelessness in Southwestern PA.

Our World Vision Workday is scheduled for Friday, August 21. Volunteers are to meet at the church at 8:00 am to be at World Vision from 9:00 am-12 noon. Come and help by sorting clothes or assembling boxes with food to be shipped around the world. Youth in the 8th grade and older, along with adults are invited. A sign up sheet is on the table in the narthex.
Our next New Members Class will be held on August 23 , 2015 at 11:00 am at the church. Pastor Jeff will offer a presentation on what it means to be a Presbyterian at JMPC. Child care is available. Please call the church office if you would like to attend.
Our Senior HIgh youth and their leaders spent a week at the PIlgrimage Church in Washington , D.C. and performed God's work by helping the homeless. The JMPC Preschool Registration is in full swing for the 2015-2016 School Year! Children ages 2, 3, and 4 are welcome to attend our Preschool. There is also a T class. How can you help those impacted by weather disasters in Oklahoma and Texas? Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) has reached out to mid-councils in the affected areas to offer care and is ready to assist as needed and requested. The MIssion Committee at JMPC will update you on how we can help out. Until then, please offer up prayers for those whose lives have been impacted by these torrential rains, floods and tornadoes.
