    Enjoy this topical Bible study for Adults on Sunday mornings @ 9:30 am in Rooms 12/ 14. This is a roundtable forum, your favorite morning beverage is encouraged and all are welcome! Our current topic centers on "30 Days to Understanding the BIble" Contact Jerry Clark for more info.


    This class is for adults of all ages. Join us for a very interesting look into our partnership with Duquesne Presbyterian Church. This is a unique pairing of churches and JMPC helps out on Mondays with Duquesne Kids Club.  "Discover the Duquesne Partnership"  with Barb Clark and Paul Humphrey that will take place this Sunday morning at 9:30 am in Fellowship Hall.


     Children and adults are welcome to join us on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am! For adults who have Pre-K children and would like to attend Sunday School, babysitting is available in the Nursery during the Sunday School hour.


    JMPC is blessed with many young families! Babysitting is provided for both the 8:30 am and 11:00 am services, as well as during the Sunday School hour.


    For kids in Grades 3-8 , from 5:00-7:00 PM with dinner included! This year's Fall program begins on October 7th. Friends are always welcome! For more information, click here.


    SENIOR HIGHS: Our activities are in full swing! We welcome all youth enrolled in Grades 9-12 and their friends.  Click here to visit the Senior HIgh Youth page and see this month's schedule of events.


    This wonderful partnership with Duquesne Church continues on Mondays beginning October 19th . Adults and  youth aged 9th  grade and up are invited to participate. Volunteers are needed to provide dinners. For more info on this vital ministry with our sister church, click here.


    JMPC will serve as a host church Ocotber 18-25 at the church. Since Family Promise centers on helping children and their families who are with out housing, everyone is encouraged to participate. Sign ups are in the Narthex or call Church Office. Volunteers needed for: staying overnight,buying supplies, and doing laundry.


    Donations made to the Bread Box in September and October will be used to send holiday cheer to families in need in December. Gift cards will be purchased for those in need at both our sister church, Duquesne Presbyterian, and at JMPC.


    Sign up to donate flowers in memory or in honor of a special person using the flower chart posted by the bulletin board in the Narthex. Additional information is found on the chart.


    Any volunteer who regularly works with children is now mandated by PA Law to have a PA child abuse clearance and a PA Criminal records check. To obtain these online, please click here for more information and links.

SUNDAY SCHOOL IS IN FULL SWING! All families, adults, and youth are invited to join us at  9:30 am Sunday mornings at the church for age-appropriate classes. 

The Discovery Class, directed at adults of ALL ages, will feature a 6 week series on "Discovering Mission Work" in October and part of November.  Various Missions that JMPC supports, as well as mission organizations that are new to us, will be shared with participants. October 11 will feature the Duquesne Partnership, October 18 will be an intergenerational program called "Step into My Shoes" and October 25 will highlight the urban church, Hot Metal Bridge. 

ABC's of the BIBLE is another adult class that will focus on "30 Days to Understanding the Bible," an overview of the history and meaning of the Bible. Bring your Bible, a beverage, and an interest in learning!



We will be compiling our 50th Anniversary 2015 pictorial directory with Lifetouch from October 6-10. We need YOU to make this the best directory yet. Click here to make your appointment.

TWO CENTS A MEAL began on World Communion Sunday, October 4 and continues throughout the month of October. Coin banks wil be distributed October 4th and will be available in the Narthex for those who wish to participate. Just donate 2 cents per person to the bank each time you have a meal. The funds we collect will support the Presbyterian Hunger Program, which supports individuals and communities across the world.


We welcome the community to attend the JMPC 2015 Christmas Affair on November 7 from 9:00 am through 3:00 PM. For 23 years, JMPC has sponsored a craft show, The Christmas Affair, the largest yearly fundraising event that we sponsor.  The money that is raised at The Christmas Affair is donated to mission organizations like SHIM, Presbyterian Disaster Relief, The PIttsburgh Project, Sojourner House , Bethel Park Meals on Wheels and more. Volunteers can sign up in our Narthex.

The JMPC Preschool Year has begun and is in full swing for the 2015-2016 School Year! Children ages 2, 3, and 4 are welcome to  attend our Preschool. There is also a T class. In addition, JMPC Preschool offers special opportunities for our students like "Lunch and Learning."  Are you looking for an early learning school that provides a variety of learning and socially appropriate activities?  For more information on how to enroll your child into our Preschool, please click here.



How can you help those impacted by weather disasters in Oklahoma and Texas? Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) has reached out to mid-councils in the affected areas to offer care and is ready to assist as needed and requested. The MIssion Committee at JMPC will update you on how we can help out. Until then, please offer up prayers for those whose lives have been impacted by these torrential rains, floods and tornadoes.
