Emily Shubilla

Emily was born and raised in the Washington county area. She attended California University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education and  a Bachelor of Arts in Language and Literacy. After subbing in area high schools, the need for a summer job brought Emily to childcare, which helped her develop the love of teaching younger children as well. She went back to school and got an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Director’s Credential. Emily worked in a childcare setting with most age groups and loves something about teaching children of any age. Around this time, Emily married her husband, James and then moved to Bethel Park. After a year as a childcare director, Emily became a stay-at-home mom to Leah and later, Jordan. Now she, James, Leah, Jordan, and their dog, Rudy, live in Venetia. Emily enjoys making memories with her family, the beach, reading, napping, crafting, and volunteering.
