Outreach at JMPC
“Above All, love one another deeply, use whatever gift (you have) received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:8-10
Assist in a Mission Project
We are active with many Mission activities at JMPC. Here are some few ideas:
- If you have 1 day: Volunteer for Produce to People or World Vision
- If you have 1 day per month: Help out with SHIM, make a meal for Kid’s Club or Family Promise
- If you have 1 day per week: Volunteer with SHIM, help out with a youth activity, be a regular at Kid’s Club, or use your gardening talents in our SHIM garden
- Consider going on a JMPC-sponsored Mission Trip

Adopt a Garden
The Building and Grounds team invites you and your family (or your organization) to adopt a garden for the year. We have many gardens (about 16) around the church that are in need of some tender loving care such as planting flowers, weeding, and watering. Each area is small in size, with lots of potential for color and design. Your commitment will be about four hours a month. Although you will sign up as individuals for a particular area, you could also team up with those around you to share watering and weeding efforts throughout the season. Sign up in the Narthex.
