John 1:12

I have much to write to you, but I do not want to use paper and ink. Instead, I hope to visit you and talk with you face to face, so that our joy may be complete.

I don’t mean to brag, but at least twice last week I knew the day of the week. In some ways the quarantine has seemed to stop time. As I read the scripture this morning, I am reminded of how much I miss each of you. I know that when this is over, we will all be able to get together again, and it will be wonderful. One theme we see in a lot of the letters in the Bible is a joyful anticipation of being in each other’s presence again. To greet each other and worship together. Until then, let’s pray for each other and do our best to remember what day it is.
